Single Sided V3 Liquidity Farming

In a typical single-asset staking pool, the deposited assets are idle, not active. Instead of your single-sided assets sitting in a contract (not generating yield), they can be deposited to V3 LP in specific single-sided ranges to earn additional yield for the protocol which gets passed back to the user. You can now choose between a high APR single-asset staking pool, or an even higher APR V3 single-sided liquidity pool. Let H3RMES manage your position for you. Example with USDCe:

On the H3RMES farm page, you have two options to deposit single-asset USDCe. You can:

1. Deposit the USDCe into a genesis pool farm, which will then sit in a contract and generate no yield, meaning that the entirety of the pool emissions are coming from the native protocol: in this case Hermes.

2. Now, you can choose the single-staking V3 farm, deposit the same USDCe into a different pool, and the USDCe will immediately be zapped into a single-sided V3 liquidity position: represented as an NFT. This generates additional yield for the protocol, meaning that additional yields can be returned to the user as a result.

Disclaimer: Single-Sided V3 farming does come with impermanent loss risk, but it is lower than the impermanent loss risk of a typical full-range.
